Blackjack Etiquette Tips
Blackjack is a gentleman’s game, so it’s best to act like a gentleman (or woman). Here are a few quick points to remember next time your on a winning streak with the cards. Always tip the dealer when you win. This one should be obvious but most new casino goers get too caught up in their winnings that they fail to reward the dealer with a nominal tip. It is not necessary, but it is something that is respectful and common etiquette for most seasoned vets. Don’t order food or drinks when it’s your turn to bet. Another one that should be apparent, but many newcomers have trouble learning this easy rule. When the players are waiting for you to place your bet or call, it is considered very rude to place an order because you are forcing them to wait on you. This can cause animosity at the table and breed bad blood. It also brings a negative vibe to the table if you do it excessively. So be polite and wait til your turn passes before you order. Thanks for your cooperation. Don’t be a negative nelly. Nobody likes to be around a whiner, so don’t make a big fuss when you lose a hand. This is another common rookie pitfall. When you take a bad beat against the dealer, avoid complaining loudly. The players at the table are there to enjoy themselves, when your sitting there crying about your cards– it ruins the mood. The players feed off of each others positive (or negative) energy at the table. So don’t be a negative nelly and ruin the fun for everybody. Everybody hates a sore loser. Next time, try smiling and treat your loss as a valuable lesson that you can learn from. You will play a better game and have a more enjoyable experience!
Blackjack – A Quick Rundown
BlackJack is played with the dealer and up to 6 players at a time on one table. The object of the game is to hit 21 without busting. The best possible hand is when you get a 21 with two cards aka BlackJack. Ace is worth 1 or 11 points and all face cards are worth 10 points. The rest of the cards correspond with their number. If you hit a Blackjack, it pays 1.5 times what you bet (in most casinos). First, the players are first dealt two cards. Then, the dealer deals himself (or herself) two cards. The dealer then shows one of their cards aka the overcard. The player’s must based their decision on that card. If the dealer is showing a face card, you want to hit unless you have a 20 or better. The reason why is because the dealer has the potential to hit a 20 or 21 when they flip over their other card. The dealer must hit if they have a hard 17. A hard 17 means that there is no ace to give you the flexibilty of making a 1 or 11. The players must beat the dealer’s cards to win. If your two cards total the same number as the dealer, then it is a push, meaning no money changes hands. If your two cards add up to a higher number than the dealer’s, you win! If the two cards add up to a lower number than the dealers (and you stay– choosing not to be dealt a third card), you lose.
Blackjack play – Would You Fold in a Deck?
Would You Fold in a Deck?
One thing about blackjack is being wise. Many rely on intuition while others would want to play on the conservative side. This usually stems once the dealer shows his first card. With only two cards in the initial dealing, the chances of the next card being a high card or a face card is really something that would make a player think. The wiser ones would fold. But the others would simply want a hit to maximize their totals just in case the other card of the dealer may not be what it is. Probabilities grace the game of blackjack and this is a given in any session of the game. Many would dare to defy the odds and some have won from these high risk decisions. But in the event of an Ace being shown, many would not take the risk and simply fold to save the humiliation and losses that they would readily incur once the faces of their chances of winning are slowly getting dimmer. Some players would not fold for the manner that they believe they can still pull it off. Blackjack may be a simple card game, but it is also something that needs wise decisions. It is more than relying on plain intuition. It is about reading the cards and tracking the deck as well to see what probabilities and stakes they would have should they continue playing the game. Folding is not an act of cowardice as some players would often refer to it. It is about being wise to your opponent in times where one would find himself in the doldrums of probable defeat. There is more to the game than being daring. It is also looking at your winnings and checking if you are ready to lose it all just in case people have trouble deciding when to stop. Two cards, one winner. A player can simply get his share through a lucky pick of the cards. However, some people just need to wise up at times since they may find themselves losing more than what they have actually won. Blackjack is simple if a person looks at it. Even the teens can take a crack at it. However, all these things change once people are on a different setting such as casinos and online casino games. There is a disparity of probabilities and people should know how to deal with them as well.

Snyder has published more than just one book outside that of the Blackjack Formula and this includes other famous books such as the Blackjack Shuffle Trackers Cookbook and the Big Book of Blackjack. Snyder has been also a critic in exposing fake gambling systems. This area of conflict usually arises in products that have used the blackjack approach with supposedly proven systems. A lot of them were done out of pure research and has taken the essence of the game as well. For professional like Snyder, it is easy to expose such and thanks to his efforts, people who have been protected from such scams aimed purely at marketing products rather than helping them on their own. Snyder is symbolic figure in the world of gambling and it takes more than basic facts about the game to really encourage and improve the game for most people. Many have taken various ways in inputting their separate beliefs, experiences on the basics of the known game of 21 but are far from producing the desired results by on the rise gamblers aiming to become professionals one day. Snyders credentials say it all. They are not purely based on facts but actual experience making him the reliable source to know the game.
